It’s no surprise to us why we have the best home record in all of baseball right now— everyone knows Brewers fans are the best in the league. And, in the thick of a pennant race, that fan support is crucial–so that’s why we’re asking you to come out and support the Crew on Saturday, September 10 by going GOLD!
Remember the Gold “Cerveceros” jerseys the team wore earlier in the season? Those were a big hit with the players and the fans. On September 10, the Crew will again sport similar gold Brewers jerseys for the game against the Phillies and all fans who in attendance are encouraged to wear their Brewers gold to the game, too!
The Brewers Team Store by Majestic is stocking up on several new t-shirts in preparation for the event and and, beginning on Tuesday morning, September 6, at 6am, fans can be the very first to strike gold as the t-shirts, in addition to a limited number of the gold jerseys, will be available at the store during a special sale.
Here’s a quick rundown of the new merchandise:
- Gold tees with the Brewers script logo on the front.
- There will be select player name and number tees (Axford, Braun, Fielder and Weeks) available in gold.
- Finally, the T. Plush Tee is still a number one seller, so we’re betting that this new gold tee, emblazoned with his patented saying, “Ahhhhhh Gotta Go!” will be a hit as well. Where do we have to go? We’ve Gotta Go to the Postseason of course!
These items will be exclusive to the Brewers Team Store by Majestic at Miller Park.
Fans who wear their gold on September 10th also have the potential to be spotted by Brewers employees and rewarded for sporting their attire. Prizes include ticket vouchers, autographed baseballs, and other merchandise.
The rush is on! Get ready to go gold!

With a new Brewers season upon us, there is always a lot of new things around the ballpark that you have been hearing about. A new manager. The new scoreboard at Miller Park. Some new delicious concession items. If you have visited the Brewers Team Store by Majestic in the last couple of days, you might have seen some new player t-shirts that debuted this week.
I first saw the shirts about a month ago during a photo shoot with the players at Spring Training. We asked the players to model the shirts and those pictures are below. The shirts were designed by Majestic and give unique twist on the traditional player jersey t-shirts that have been extremely popular at Miller Park.
The Ryan Braun and Casey McGehee shirts have a little “America’s Dairyland” touch to them while the “Jersey Shore” shore boys might put on Yovani Gallardo’s tattoo-inspired shirt when “T-Shirt Time” comes around. Closers in baseball are often referred to as “Firemen” and Brewers closer John Axford’s shirt looks like something you would see at at Milwaukee Fire Station.
Available now are Axford, Braun and Prince Fielder. Throughout the season, other players will be rolled out. On May 1, the McGehee and Rickie Weeks shirts will be made available. On June 1, the Zack Greinke and Corey Hart shirts will go on sale and the series will conclude on August 1 when the Craig Counsell and Gallardo shirts debut.
These shirts are available exclusively to the Brewers Team Story by Majestic and will look great in your collection of Brewers player t-shirts. This shirts will sell for $30 each and are available in adult sizes.
Which shirt is your favorite? Let us know by placing your vote.
It might seem a little early to start thinking about the All-Star Game with only two weeks of the season behind us, but sure enough, balloting for the 2010 MLB All-Star Game begins online today and at Miller Park on Saturday.
Over the past three seasons, Brewers fans filled the ballot boxes with All-Star votes for their favorite Milwaukee Brewers players.
Last year, Ryan Braun was the top vote-getter among outfielders with 4,138,599 votes making him a starter in the Midsummer Classic for the second consecutive season. The first reader to e-mail me with the last Brewers player to start in consecutive All-Star Games prior to Braun will receive a Vote Brewers! T-shirt.
In 2008, the impact of the “Vote Brewers!” campaign was heard and seen throughout Major League Baseball. Braun was voted to the game with the third-highest vote total of anyone in Major League Baseball with 3,835,890 votes. He also became the first Brewers outfielder to be selected by fan balloting. Additionally, Corey Hart was named to the National League All-Star team via the Monster All-Star Final Vote. Remember the “I Hart NY” campaign? That was a fun couple of days trying to do everything we could to get Corey into the game.
In 2007, Prince Fielder received the second-most votes in the National League en route to his first career All-Star team, becoming the first Brewers player to be voted to the All-Star game since Paul Molitor was selected at third base in 1988.
Not only was it a reflection of the way the Brewers have been performing on the field–all three players deserved their spots on the All-Star team–but it also showed the loyalty Brewers fans have for their players. It’s always great to see the Brewers represented in that way on a national stage like the All-Star Game.
This season, eight Milwaukee Brewers players are featured on the ballot for the 81st Major League Baseball All-Star Game, to be held on Tuesday, July 13 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif. Joining Braun and Fielder on this year’s ballot are: 2B Rickie Weeks, SS Alcides Escobar, 3B Casey McGehee, C Gregg Zaun, OF Jim Edmonds and OF Carlos Gomez.
Brewers fans will again have the opportunity to show their overwhelming fan support by helping to decide which players will be named to the Midsummer Classic through the 2010 MLB In-Stadium Firestone All-Star Balloting Program and the 2010 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot Sponsored by Sprint.
The online ballot is now available at brewers.com and beginning Saturday, fans will be able to vote through in-park balloting at Miller Park. Fans can vote for the Major League All-Stars online at brewers.com through Thursday, July 1 at 10:59 CT. In-park balloting at Miller Park will continue through Sunday, June 13, comprising 25 home dates. In-stadium balloting for every Major League team will consist of 25 home games.
At brewers.com, all fans voting 25 times for their favorite Brewers will be entered into a drawing to win Ryan Braun’s Miller Park suite for a night, complete with tickets, food and a personal visit from the young Brewers slugger. More details and rules may be found at brewers.com. Additionally, 25 online votes will unlock a special code that will be good for discounted tickets to select games at Miller Park.
You can use those tickets to come out to the ballpark and fill out paper ballots with a chance to win some pretty great prizes at the All-Star Polling District, set up during Brewers home games along the first base concourse.
With every ten ballots turned in to the All-Star Polling District, fans will receive one raffle ticket that will enter them in a drawing for the opportunity to win a collector’s item daily, ranging from game-used memorabilia to player autographs. A drawing will be held during every home game through June 13 and the winning ticket will be announced during the game. Rules will be available at the Polling District.
The 2010 American League and National League All-Star Teams will be announced on Sunday, July 4th on the 2010 MLB All-Star Game Selection Show on TBS. Both the National League and American League teams will have eight fan-elected starters. The pitchers and reserves for both will be determined through a combination of “Player Ballot” choices and selections made by the two All-Star managers.
Follow the John and Cait blog as we will have special features on all eight Brewers All-Star candidates throughout the Vote Brewers! 2010 Campaign.
