NEW FAN EXPERIENCE TECHNOLOGY DEBUTS AT MILLER PARK

Last night, we debuted a new software program at Miller Park that allows fans the chance to make seating upgrades by using their smartphones. In partnership with a fan experience technology company called Experience, Brewers fans can access seat upgrades through MLB’s At the Ballpark app, free for iPhone, iPod touch and Android tablets.

Once downloaded, fans can select ‘Miller Park’ as their venue of choice and are able to take advantage of seat upgrades. For example, fans may decide to sit behind home plate to get closer to the action or move to the Club Level for a VIP experience.

“We are excited to introduce this new software for fans to enhance their Miller Park experience,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “The process of upgrading seats is quick and easy and a feature that fans will enjoy throughout the season.”

All season seat holders of 20 games or more (excluding Terrace Treat accounts) have first access to the seat upgrade locations. Season seat holders of 20+ games who have a valid email will have first access to the software 1.5 hours prior to first pitch. Public access begins at 30 minutes prior to first pitch. Season seat holders will also receive a 20% discount for all seat upgrades available through the application.

“Through our technology, Experience empowers teams with the unique ability to create more loyal and dynamic fan relationships and to enhance the overall experience at MLB games,” said Experience President Ben Ackerman.  “Working with the Brewers, fans will be able to redefine their experience at Miller Park like never before. By upgrading, fans can tailor their game day based on who they are with and where they would like to sit.”
