This weekend, Milwaukee is gearing up for one heck of a party in celebration of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary.
Tens of thousands of riders from across the globe will congregate for four memorable days full of bikes, music, and parties.
Harley-Davidson has long been a great partner of ours (note the H-D Deck & Crew H-D ticket package), and in 2008 for the 105th Anniversary Celebration, we were happy to host several events on the Miller Park grounds.
This year, the Crew is in town to take on the Angels (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and the Pirates (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), so there won’t be any concerts held here, but we’re still happy to be a part of the celebration–welcoming any riders who can make the time to take in a game while they are in town; hosting the Deeley Harley Canada Rally today; and also, as the starting point for a very important event on Saturday morning.
On Saturday, over 6,000 Harley-Davidson riders will make their way to Miller Park to take part in a massive parade which begins at 10am and goes “all the way down Wisconsin Avenue” as Bob Uecker would say, eventually ending at the Summerfest Grounds. Only riders with parade passes are allowed to take part in this event and meet at Miller Park, but everyone else is invited to line the streets along the route. For more information, including a route map, click here. The official Anniversary site also has complete details on all of the events going on around the city. [Note: There is also a ride to the game on Monday from House of Harley. For more information on that, click here.]
We’re looking forward to seeing all of the bikes out here on Saturday morning, and hopefully many riders and visitors making their way to Miller Park to check out a game or two in between Anniversary events.

Today is the beginning of one of my favorite times of the year–the first day of the Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, which runs today through Sunday, August 11.
State Fair has been a great partner of ours here at the Brewers and we’ve had a popular ticket package with the Fair for several years now. This year, it’s $15 Brewers Fair Fridays.
For $15, you get a Brewers Terrace Reserved ticket to one of our Friday night home games, plus one general admission ticket to State Fair. Since Terrace Reserved tickets are typically around $18 and State Fair tickets are $10, you’re already saving $13 with the purchase of the package. AND now, with our announcement of the Fans Eat Free promotion, where, for the month of August, all fans attending any of the 12 Brewers home games will receive a $10 voucher for free concessions, merchandise and game tickets at Miller Park, this offer is a steal!
This package is only on sale through the end of the Fair (Sunday, August 11), so you’ll have to hurry. The remaining five Brewers Fair Fridays (plus promotions you’ll double or triple-up on) are as follows:
- Friday, August 2 vs. Washington Nationals @ 7:10pm (Tomorrow!)
- Plus, Fans Eat Free!
- And, the first 30,000 fans will receive a Robin Yount Poster commemorating the 20th anniversary of Robin’s retirement as a player. (Get there early for the pregame ceremony!)
- Friday, August 16 vs. Cincinnati Reds @ 7:10pm
- Plus, Fans Eat Free!
- And, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Bernie Brewer can coozie in celebration of Birthday Weekend at Bernie’s!
- Friday, August 30 vs. Los Angeles Angels @ 7:10pm
- Plus, Fans Eat Free!
- Friday, September 13 vs. Cincinnati Reds @ 7:10pm
- Friday, September 20 vs. St. Louis Cardinals @ 7:10pm
- And, the first 20,000 fans 21 and older will receive a Brewers grilling set, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino.
Don’t forget that in addition to our Fair Fridays, we’ve also got a lot of other great deals that you can double-up on with Fans Eat Free this month, like our Brew Crew & the Zoo ticket offer, where you get a Brewers ticket to select games (August dates are 8/21 & 8/30 ), a Zoo ticket and a beverage tumbler for just $20; our Crew H-D Ticket package which gets you a Harley-Davidson Museum ticket and a Brewers Terrace Reserved Ticket (August dates are 8/2 & 8/21); Time Warner Cable Student Nights on Fridays (tickets are $9 or $11.50 and some include a t-shirt!); the Miller Lite Beerpen on Fridays (tickets are $23 and include a t-shirt); Miller High Life Mondays ($9 Terrace Reserved tickets every Monday); and Kids & Senior Citizens Discount Days (August date is 8/21).

The Brewers Mini-Marathon is just two days away!
By now if you’ve been training properly, you should be physically ready for the race.
All that’s left are the details. Making sure you maintain proper nutrition over the next two days, dressing appropriately for the weather (The current forecast for Saturday calls for 47 degrees with a chance of rain. Be sure to remember your layers!), and, of course, if you choose to run with music, perfecting your Brewers Mini playlist.
Now, there are many ways to fine-tune your race day music lineup:
- Stick with the music you’ve been using for your training
- Fill your iPod with your favorite songs
- Construct a playlist filled with Brewers Walk-Up Music
- Download new music for motivation
However, since the Brewers Mini Marathon course is so unique, we thought it would be fun to give you song suggestions based on all of the landmarks you’ll be passing on the route.
