This is one of our favorite blog posts of the year. The Clubhouse Sale seems to grow every year and seems to get better every year. There are always some gems and we dig deep to find them for you.
The sale is open to the public Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and features some amazing deals. Read on for our favorite finds and details about the event!
The first thing that caught my attention when I walked in and headed toward the ladies’ section were these separates from Major League Fitness:
You can buy each individually, or get the set! The jacket was originally $65 and is now selling for $35, while the pants were $50 marked down to $25.
Next, I noticed this striped hoodie top from Cutter & Buck. Last year, I purchased one of the Cutter & Buck sweatshirt dresses from the Sale and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s probably one of my favorite articles of clothing that I own and I wear it almost once a week. Thus, when I saw this long-sleeved top with a hoodie attached and felt the soft fabric, I knew I’d have to get this one, too:
The top was $90, now selling for $40. I can already tell it’s going to become another of my favorites!
In the last month, not one, but THREE of my friends have had babies. Thus, I was drawn to the infants, toddlers and kids area, where there are plenty of fun choices.
I couldn’t resist stocking up on these adorable Brewers sleepers, that are just $10 each, marked down from $20:
I also noticed a selection of maternity tops available for just $10 each (originally $35). One reads “Official Fan Supplier” and the other says “Mom’s Future MVP.” Too bad these weren’t available at the Sale last year, or I would have stocked up for my friends!
Other items to note include the Racing Sausage Tees, which are marked down for $35 to $15:
And the Majestic Thermabase Tech Fleece pullovers, which are selling for $40:
While you’re shopping for merchandise, you can also pick up other Brewers-themed gifts for the fans on your list, including the 2014 Brewers Kids Club Kit and Brewers Holiday 4-Packs, as members of our Ticket Sales team will be on hand at the event.
If you know me, you know that I am a uniform nerd. I love special uniforms, old uniforms, all types of uniforms. I have always highlighted these popular items for our previous previews, but this year it seemed like the selection is a lot better. There were a number of jerseys that I have never been on sale at a clubhouse sale before, like a number of 1969 Seattle Pilots jerseys and some throwback Braves jerseys that I had never seen.
In addition, they had a number of game used jerseys from Brewers players like Craig Counsell, Nyjer Morgan, Aramis Ramirez and others. Game worn and authentic uniforms are always some of the first items to go and quantities are limited on these one of a kind items.
Prices of the jerseys range from $50-$500. One photo couldn’t do the selection justice, so I made a little slideshow:
Also in the Brewers Authentics section were game-used baseballs from $10, game-used bats from $50 and game-worn hats from $25. The Authentics section is always one of the most popular spots at the Clubhouse Sale and items are extremely limited, so I recommend getting there as early as possible to get the best selection on these items.
I mentioned the availability of the “Design a Uniform” jersey from 2013, but there were also plenty of hats available in a variety of sizes. These were priced at $20.
Sure it has a date on it, but you can wear this unique Spring Training shirt in Phoenix and Milwaukee for many years! Plus, in 15 years, it will be a collectors item! Remember, everything old becomes new again! Priced at $15.
I always collected baseball cards as a kid and these 2013 Topps team sets would make a great stocking stuffer.
Every Clubhouse Sale there appears some items that I have never seen before. This Retro “tie-dye” style t-shirt is this year’s “never been seen item.” Made by “Gear for Sports,” it is only $15.
Plenty of hats for sale as well. Winter hats, fitted hats, snapback hats, floppy hats, kids hats–you name it. Priced from $10.
A reminder that every customer who makes a purchase will receive a free Brewers bobblehead bundle, while supplies last. Additionally, a “more-you-spend-the-more-you-save” coupon will be offered. Coupons of 10%/20%/30% off will be offered to the Brewers Team Store by Majestic for those spending $100/$200/$300 at the Clubhouse Sale.
Shoppers can access the Clubhouse Sale by entering Miller Park at the Hot Corner entrance near the Brewers Team Store by Majestic and following the posted directions to the visiting clubhouse. Cash and credit cards will be accepted (no personal checks). Admission and parking is free.
In addition, the Brewers Team Store by Majestic will also feature a variety of activities during both days of the Clubhouse Sale. Eight prize drawings will be held at the team store on both days. Prizes will include $250 shopping sprees and special Authentic Collection packages at the Brewers Team Store by Majestic. Children can have their photo taken with the Klement’s Famous Racing Sausages™ on December 6 from 10 a.m. – noon and with Santa on December 7 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Brewers Team Store by Majestic. Fans should bring their own cameras and the photos will be free of charge with any purchase.
