Earlier this spring, we put out a call for your most creative Brewers TV spot ideas with our “Create a Commercial” contest.
We let you vote on the final three and, in a close race, Jesse Jirik from Milwaukee was declared the winner.
Jirik had the chance to direct the spot, titled “Yes,” earlier this month with the help of Madison-based production company, Provideo.
In Jirik’s winning commercial, a man takes his advice and cues from a beloved Carlos Gomez Bobblehead (who always seems to agree with his decisions) – much to the chagrin of his wife. View Jesse’s original submission here.
And tonight, it debuted prior to the game at Miller Park, will air on FOX Sports Wisconsin during tonight’s Brewers broadcast, and, you can also see it here, online.
Jesse also received a Brewers prize package including a Brewers director’s chair and tickets to tonight’s game, where I caught up with him.
“It’s really neat to see it come to life, from an idea to TV,” Jesse said.
He said he enjoyed the production aspect he most: “It’s amazing how much work goes into :30 of TV,” he said.
Congratulations, Jesse–we hope you are as pleased as we are with the final product!
All of the votes have been tallied for the Brewers “Create a Commercial” contest and, in a close race, Jesse Jirik from Milwaukee has been declared the winner. His commercial submission titled, “Yes,” received the most votes among three other finalists in a fan vote which took place at Brewers.com/commercial from March 10-23.
Jirik will get the chance to direct and/or star in a professional commercial that will air at Miller Park, on FOX Sports Wisconsin during a Brewers broadcast, and online. He will also receive a Brewers prize package including game tickets and a Brewers director’s chair.
In Jirik’s winning commercial, a man takes his advice and cues from a beloved Brewers Bobblehead (who always seems to agree with his decisions) – much to the chagrin of his wife. View Jesse’s original submission here.
The commercial will be produced at the beginning of the season by the Madison-based production company, Provideo. A debut air date is to be determined based on production schedules.

Thank you to everyone who submitted their ideas and congratulations, Jesse, we can’t wait to work with you!
Have you ever had a fun idea for a Brewers commercial? The Milwaukee Brewers are giving aspiring marketing professionals a chance to show what they have with a new creative contest where fans can “Create a Commercial.” We announced our latest interactive contest at today’s Brewers On Deck event.
Funny, touching, serious—it doesn’t matter as long as it is awesome. Fans are invited to create and submit a storyboard with their idea at brewers.com/commercial. Entries may also be supplemented with a YouTube clip (up to 30 seconds in length) or Instagram video (up to 15 seconds in length) to further illustrate their ideas.
One winner will get the chance to direct and/or star in a spot that will play in Miller Park, on FOX Sports Wisconsin during a Brewers broadcast, and online. The winner will also receive a Brewers prize package including game tickets and a Brewers director’s chair.
“With our recent ‘Design a YOUniform’ and ‘Create a Concession’ contests, we saw how creative and engaged our fans were in offering their ideas to connect with the team,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “We place a very high value on opinions from our fans, and we expect a similar strong response to this initiative.”
The period for submissions opens today and will last until Friday, February 28 at brewers.com/commercial. An internal Brewers committee will review the entries and judge them from March 3 – 7. Then, from March 10 – 23, fans will be able to vote on the finalists at brewers.com/commercial. The spot will be produced at the beginning of the season. An air date is to be determined based on production schedules.
Entry form templates, complete details and official rules can be found at brewers.com/commercial. The winning commercial will be produced by the Madison-based production company, Provideo.
