Don’t Miss Carlos Gomez on MTV and MLB’s New Series “Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave”

Brewers fans will not want to miss tonight’s episode of “Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave!”

Today, Carlos Gomez visited the Fan Cave, where he  filmed tonight’s episode as the in-studio host along with Sway and Chris Distefano. Set your DVRs and/or tune in after tonight’s Brewers vs. Mets game at 10pm CT to catch it!

 

“Off the Bat” is a weekly, 30-minute series with a 30 episode order that is hosted from the MLB Fan Cave in New York City this season. The show airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm CT and episodes are re-aired several times on the network each week.

New this year, the series launched a multi-year, cross-platform programming partnership between MLB and MTV that brings fans inside the intersection of pop culture and baseball. MLB players share their love for pop culture and entertainment, while fans will gain behind-the-scenes access to the biggest stars in baseball.

Each week, MLB players will be in-studio for interviews and segments with series hosts Sway, Fat Joe, Chris Distefano and Melanie Iglesias and each episode also features on-location segments with players, diving deeper into their off-the-field interests that fans don’t ordinarily see, whether it’s a tour of their favorite restaurants or a look at their sneaker collection.

2013 World Series MVP David Ortiz of the Red Sox is serving as an Executive Producer of the series throughout the season and other MLB players have signed on to serve as Executive Producers of individual episodes.

The show first premiered on April 1 on MTV2. New episodes air on Tuesdays at 10 pm CT and episodes will be re-aired several times on the network each week.

Melanie Iglesias of “Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave” Visits Hank

Earlier today, Hank the Brewers’ #BallparkPup made a new friend – Melanie Iglesias, co-host of “Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave,” the new weekly series on MTV2 devoted to baseball and pop culture that will premiere in April.

“I think I’m in love!” Melanie said, echoing the sentiment of many Brewer fans who have been enraptured by the puppy, as she played with Hank in the lawn seating area at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix, Arizona.
