Hank the Ballpark Takes the Stage Once Again, This Time with Cesar Millan

Hank the Ballpark Pup was back in the spotlight on Friday night, this time as a special guest of Cesar Millan, star of “Cesar 911” on Nat Geo WILD and original host of Nat Geo WILD’s the “Dog Whisperer” series.

When Hank first arrived at the Riverside on Friday night, he had a dry run of his appearance by going out on to the Riverside stage a few times to get a feel for it. No stranger to the stage, the 2015 Dog of the Year was  mostly enthralled with the carpet on stage — not once looking out into the empty theater.

Cesar met Hank backstage before the show. Instant connection. Cesar was laser focused and Hank was so sweet.

Next, Hank was taken to his own dressing room on level 5 where he drank water, took a couple photos and got a treat.

At 8p it was showtime — Hank was brought down stage left and met with Cesar. Cesar took the leash and walked out to 2,000 screaming fans. Hank started prancing and ran up to the edge of the stage and wouldn’t stop smiling and looking out into the sea of people — it was adorable.

 

Cesar told Hank’s story to the crowd. After which he thanked Hank for coming and walked him off stage. He walked back on stage and told the crowd, “If I would kept him here, you would’ve never paid attention to me. It’s my show after all,” he said with a smile.

MILWAUKEE BREWERS ANNOUNCE ASSEMBLY OF YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FOR “CREATIVE COUNCIL”

Today, we announced that we have formed the “Brewers Creative Council,” a team of young professionals who will work with the organization to collectively evaluate and create new promotional ideas and marketing strategies for the organization.

A key focus of the council is to target a younger demographic of Brewers fans and potential Brewers fans.

“The best ideas sometimes come from outside sources,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “The Brewers Creative Council will give us the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of fans as we continue to enhance the Miller Park experience.”

I’m proud to tell you that I am heading up this group of talented individuals who will meet regularly to share ideas that will be developed into new concepts. They are:

Josh Derouin, Manager of Marketing Systems at PKWARE; Joel Tilleson, Associate Attorney at Falk Legal Group; Kathryn Reinardy, Digital Communications Manager at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra; Andy Nelson, Public Relations Director at Pabst Theater Group; Lauren Hill, Director of Telefund at UW-Milwaukee;  David Cohn, Director of Member Services and Communications at Wisconsin State Golf Association; Tarik Moody, Digital/Online Community Manager and Music Host at 88Nine RadioMilwaukee; and Arthur Ircink, Owner/Executive Producer of Wisconsin Foodie.
