Brewers Community Foundation & U.S. Cellular to Host Kids from Little Brewers Program
Tomorrow, Brewers Community Foundation and U.S. Cellular will host 500 children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee for the Brewers 1:10 pm contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This is all part of the Little Brewers Baseball Program, which gives local children an opportunity to play organized baseball. Prior to the game, Little Brewers participants will enjoy a tailgate in the Yount & Uecker parking lots.
During the tailgate, Bernie Brewer and the Klement’s Famous Racing SausagesTM will stop by and interact with the kids. In addition, Brewers Community Foundation and U.S. Cellular will present a check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee to help support the Little Brewers Baseball Program in a pregame ceremony.
The Little Brewers Baseball Program gives Wisconsin children, ages 6 through 9, an opportunity to play in an organized baseball program each summer through their local Boys & Girls Club chapters. The program receives $10,000 in support from Brewers Community Foundation and $10,000 from U.S. Cellular, which is the corporate sponsor for the Little Brewers Club. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee administers the Little Brewers program.
