YOUNG FAN’S IDEA BECOMES A REALITY
A simple-but-creative idea from a 10 year-old fan became a reality today.
Earlier this year, Tyler Webb, a young Brewers supporter from Strum, Wis., submitted a suggestion that Miller Park should offer blue corn tortilla chips along with yellow cheese sauce to create Brewers-themed nachos. The Brewers front office and concessionaire Delaware North Sportservice loved the concept, and now “Tyler’s Nachos” has made its debut.
“We were having nachos one day, and we ran out of our yellow chips that we usually use. So we used blue corn chips, and I noticed that they were Brewer colors. Then, we emailed Delaware North, and they said they liked the idea,” Tyler said.
Tyler’s Nachos will be available for purchase at the Section 216 Cactus League Nachos stand on the Loge Level, and will be included in the stand’s menu of items through the end of the month. To literally top it off, fans may also opt for an “M” Brewers logo in sour cream on the item.
To celebrate the occasion, Tyler and his family were invited out to enjoy the game in a suite at Miller Park and received gifts as part of a rollout ceremony.
“I think it’s exciting. I think getting to go to the game and getting a suite to watch today’s game is the coolest part,” Tyler said.
