Cait’s A-to-Z Guide for the June 18 Kenny Chesney Concert at Miller Park

On Saturday, June 18, Kenny Chesney returns to Milwaukee as part of his 2016 Spread the Love Tour! After breaking nine attendance records and selling over 1.3 million tickets on last year’s Big Revival Tour, the King of Summer is back at it again with 13 more stadiums and an even bigger lineup in 2016 as he joins forces with the biggest female country artist on the planet in Miranda Lambert.

In addition to Chesney and Lambert, the Miller Park concert will also feature four-time Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town and emerging star Old Dominion, who broke onto the scene in 2015 with their smash hit “Break Up With Him”.

As a big country fan myself, I’ve been looking forward to this concert since we announced it last October.

And, just like you, I’m getting all geared up for the show. I’m planning my tailgate with friends, shining up my cowboy boots and I’m blasting my “Good Stuff” playlist on repeat.

But what else do you need to know to have a fun and enjoyable experience? Read on for our A-to-Z guide.

As you know, in Wisconsin, things can change quickly, but we’ll do our best to keep you updated closer t the show. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for the most up-to-date information. Open or closed, one this is for sure–Miller Park will be rockin’!

I actually have a question- will there be portable toilets on the field or will we have to go up in the stands to use a bathroom?

Hi There! I checked and we are hoping to add them this year, near the left-field foul pole. Not 100% confirmed yet, but hoping!

Is there a link to advance parking purchases online? I may be challenged but I can’t seem to find it. 🙂

No. You can call or come to the ticket windows. (414) 902-4000

I think I will call…… Driving from Wentzville, MO is a bit far for a parking pass! 🙂

Can’t to hang out with NO Shoes Nation @ Miller Park!

I have suite tickets. Can I bring a guest that has a regular ticket into the suite like you can for games/concerts?

Everyone should sit in their ticketed location for the concert. Communication will be sent to the Suiteholder of record if it hasn’t been already.

So I’ve already purchased my tickets and parking. I’m doing will call and plan to get them the day of the show. How will parking attendees know I’ve already purchased to park? Didn’t see anything in confirmation email.

Please call (414) 902-4480 or email so we can look up your order.

could you provide a link to purchase parking?

Not available online, but you can call or come to the ticket windows. (414) 902-4000

Will the johnsons control stadium area be open during the concert, or tgi Fridays? Thanks.

JCI Club will not be open for the show. Friday’s will be open for their ticketed patrons and have the patio open in advance. I’ll check on bar service during the show.

Are there any buses running from the Oak Creek area? We have a group coming from Racine and would like to take some sort of transit

I am not aware of anything specific to Oak Creek. I would check with your local pubs/restaurants and see if anyone is offering a shuttle.

Can any age enter this concert? Or is it 21 and older?

What is the lineup order for Miller Park? We are coming from a softball tournament and we want to know what the lineup is, please..

Old Dominion, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney

Are there still advanced parking passes available?

Please call 414-902-4000.

We already have a parking pass. We are coming up there in a small motorhome, will we need to park in a special parking area?

Yes-you will need to park in the Miller Lot. If the vehicle is over 18′ you will need a special bus parking pass. Please call 414-902-4000.

I have a CID parking pass, it states ‘access to the Miller Lot or any other “General Parking” lots’ – thing is we need handicapped parking – with the CID pass and my handicapped card, will we be able to park over in “Brewers 2” lot on 3rd baseline like we do for normal games?

If you have a VIP pass, come to the Miller Lot from Miller Park Way. That lot will let VIP pass holders in earlier.

Enter the Miller lot area as that will be earlier entry and the parking attendants can move you to Brewers 2.

ALSO: CID entertainment is stating that the parking lot opening time is 1pm; you’re stating it is 2pm; does it open earlier for the VIP? Just wondering why there are conflicting times…don’t want to arrive and end up sitting in a line for an hour to get in.

VIP gets one hour earlier.

We are coming up with a camper, do we have to leave the parking area after the concert or can we spend the night in the parking lot?

Sorry, everyone must leave within one hour after the show.

Are we able to leave a vehicle in the parking lot overnight? If so, by what time on Sunday does the vehicle need to be moved?

No, just like at Brewers games.

Will the Sand Bar area have food and drinks? Or will we have to leave the area for that and re-enter?

The field level will have drinks.

Great! That will make things a lot easier. Will there also be restrooms in the field area?

Yes-near the LF foul pole.

Will the wristband stations outside of the stadium be for the Sandbar section or just field seating?

Is the ‘Miller Lot’ the ONLY lot that will let VIP in early? I can’t do a whole lot of walking and am used to parking in handicapped on the 3rd baseline.

You added the answer above, thank you!

Will there be restrooms and beer stations on the field level for people with floor seating?

Yes, beer portables will be in the four corners of the seating. We are going to try for the first time doing portable restrooms near the Left Field foul pole.

Is there a rough time schedule for how long each band will be performing? I see it starts and five and trying to figure out roughly how long the concert should be. Thanks!

I’m sorry, not at this time. I would imagine the show would be over before midnight.

Do you have any idea on what the set list times will be for each performer? Trying to figure out how long the concert will be. Thanks.

I’m sorry, I do not.

I purchased an advanced parking pass. Can I park in the Preferred parking(Money, Cooper, Yount) area?

All advanced parking is 1st come 1st serve- no preferred vs. general.

We have a party of 4 staying at a downtown hotel. Only 2 are going to the concert and want to be dropped off and picked up afterwards. Will this be a nightmare? Is there any shuttles downtown they could take instead?

Please see note about drop-offs and shuttles above.

Will the food concessions be open before and during the concert?

My friend and I r coming Saturday. We have purchased advanced parking. We will need handicapped parking, as my friend is in a wheelchair. What gate should I be looking to enter? I have never been to the ball park, and will b driving up from Rockford, Illinois.

For ADA parking, please follow the Preferred Parking signage and display your ADA placard to the parking attendant.

Do you know which band is coming on first? Second? Third? Also, is there any estimate of what time each will be on? Old Dominion from 5 pm to 6 pm? Little Big Town from 6:15 to 7:15? And so on? Thanks!

The order is Old Dominion, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert & Kenny Chesney. I’m sorry but I do not have the times.

I saw day of show info for another date on this tour with set times but now I am not finding it. I believe Old Dominion was starting right at 5 and playing 30-40 minutes. Little Big town hasn’t been on this tour yet but I’m assuming they have enough hits for 50-60 minutes. Miranda is doing 75 minutes + encore, and Kenny was doing 90 minutes + encore(s).

I have VIP “Wild Child” Experience tickets for the show. I have only received the tickets at this point. No parking pass or additional information regard gate locations to use, times to enter, the VIP party, etc., etc. Will we be getting any information before Saturday?

This is done through the company that manages the VIP event. They are working on them, and will get prior to the event (likely tomorrow/Friday).

Concerning the question of VIP – I received all my information last week, if you haven’t received any information you should contact CID Entertainment asap.

Yes- apparently they sent one to a group on 6/7. Last minute ones went this week. If you haven’t received by now, you should reach out to CID Entertainment.

The measurements on soft coolers at 16x16x8?
Can you clarify sizing? What order Is this? height x width x depth?

It’s anyway you’d like to measure it.

Can you enter off any freeway exit into Miller Park if your parking pass says “Advance Parking” . It says off hwy 41 south but it is not VIP

Yes, there are no preferred or general lots, people can enter anywhere they choose.

Is there a family section seating area that would be appropriate for kids like you have for Brewers games?

There are no family sections. There are a limited number of floor seats, as well as some Terrace Reserved still available.. I would not recommend sandbar.

How much is parking if we are taking a shuttle bus and it will be staying for tailgating?

Bus parking is $100 day of, they are opening a few more advanced spots at $75.

Due to child care issues, my husband and I will not get to the concert until 7 pm. We have floor seats. Will the wristband booth inside of the stadium still be open at that time, or will we need to get our wrist bands at the outside booth at 2:30?

Wristband stations will also be set-up inside of Miller Park on the Field Level concourse near sections 110, 118, and 126 and inside of the Hot Corner Gate beginning when gates open (4 p.m.)

Is there a map of how stage is setup so I can get a feel for my view from my seats?

Will the associated bank gate be open for AB customers to use?

It will not be open because it is backstage.

I hope to use Uber to get there and back. Treated same as taxi right for drop off and pick up?

The Uber pickup and dropoff is at the Gantner lot, near the Sausage Haus on the east side of the stadium.

By what time must tailgaters wrap up their pre concert tailgate and enter the stadium?

I purchased an advanced parking pass months ago. Am I guaranteed a parking spot or do i have to get there super early?

You will have parking!

What about RV’s? Nothing is posted about it.

Just like Brewers games they will be treated like a bus. You will need a special parking pass and to park in the Miller Lot. Please call 414-90-2-4000.

Trying to tell our babysitter hours needed. What is an approximate time Chesney will take stage and show be over?

There is not an exact time line but based on previous shows they tend to end near 11pm and Chesney usually plays around two hours. The event is sold out so parking lots will take some time to clear out after the show.

We bought 2 paper tickets and a parking pass. We have had a family emergency and now we cannot make it. Is there any way to convert them to electronic passes so that we can sell them on line (sights like stub hub do not allow paper tickest within 72 hours of a show)

There is not. If you can get to the ballpark today and leave at willcall for someone, we can do that.

What kind of food and beverages will be for sale during the concert?

The same concessions you enjoy at Miller Park will be open for the concert.

For sandbar area, is there chairs by chance or can you bring in a lawn chair? Or is it standing only?

It is standing room only.

What is the stadium map referring to: tailgate grid locations, tailgate permit checkin? To tailgate before the concert is there anything special i need to do?

Is there motorcycle parking or is it general parking area. Is there still a charge for parking no matter where you park.?

The Cooper Lot will be best…all parking is the same price in all lots.

What does the stadium map refer to: tailgate permit checkin, tailgate grid locations, etc.? Can we just park and tailgate anywhere at the concert?

Similar to games, we sold packages for groups. Please call 414-902-4000 for more information.

Is it possible to upgrade tickets the day of the concert?

There may be limited availability. Stop at the ticket windows!

Hi Cait – we were able to get last minute tickets and coming from Chicago. I know parking is no longer available online and out tickets are at will call. We plan to be there by 3 PM. Is there a chance we won’t get parking? Just worried as we cannot get there any earlier. Thank you in advance!

You should be fine at 3!

This Q&A makes me worry a bit about parking. Will arriving at 4:30/5:00 be at risk of not having enough parking? Thanks for the great job answering all these questions btw.

We do not expect to run out of parking but we might be tight and have to move the late comers around.

Is bug spray allowed to be brought in?

We try to stay away from any liquids. If it is medical we can make an exception.

You mentioned concessions will be available during the concert, do you know which ones? Will AJ Bombers be open? Or just select concessions? Thanks!

Everything should be open.

Can you carry in a seat cushion?

Are there seats at any point in the sandbar? Perhaps between shows??

No chairs, sorry.
