#CactusCrew Photo Day!

Today was Photo Day down at Maryvale.

Photo Day is always one of my favorite days in Spring Training.

Players move around to various stations set up for folks from Associated Press, Getty Images and USA Today to Topps Baseball Cards, Brewers team photographer Scott Paulus and… me!

For the past few years, I’m always the last stop for the guys and, although they may be tired of smiling, my goal is to get them to loosen up and have some fun.

The goal with my station, for social media, is to allow the players to show their personalities a bit more and to create fun content for you, the fans.

This year, I used an app called Pocketbooth which is essentially the digital version of the old-fashioned photo booth.

The app takes four photos in a row and generates a fun photo strip, such as these:

You can view the entire #CactusCrew Photo Day gallery here.

It was a lot of fun watching these guys ham it up for the camera and it was a nice way to get know some of the new guys on the team a little better.

I don’t know about you, but seeing this stuff really gets me excited for baseball!
