Last night (Wednesday, December 9), Hank the Ballpark Pup took to the stage with a walk-on role in a Milwaukee Repertory Theater production of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol.
Hank the Ballpark Pup made his stage debut last night.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of this beloved Milwaukee holiday tradition, the Milwaukee Rep is welcoming a host of special guests to participate in a small role in the production. Last night, Hank the Ballpark Pup joined the ranks of Mayor Tom Barrett, Joe Bartolotta of Bartolotta’s Restaurants, Vince Vitrano of Today’s TMJ4, and Jeff Sherman of OnMilwaukee.com and other local personalities and community leaders who will appear as townspeople in Act II of the production on various dates this holiday season.
Here are a few photos from Hank’s bit night:
Thanks to the Milwaukee Rep for providing those great photos, as well as this clip:
Following his debut, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a meet and greet with the Ballpark Pup in the lobby of the theater.
A Christmas Carol runs through December 24 at the Pabst Theater.
