Lucroy Hosts Veteran Roy Radke at Today’s Game

Today, Jonathan Lucroy is hosting Roy Radke, a combat veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War, and his family at today’s game.

Roy served in US Army from 1945-1968 in the 1st Infantry Division and 1st Calvary Division, 8th Regiment. He served in Germany, Japan, Italy, and Austria and his medals earned include the Combat Infantry Badge, 2 Bronze Stars, and Commendation Medals.

Jonathan Lucroy met Roy on one of the Stars and Stripes Honor Flights and was excited to bring him out to Miller Park where Roy got to tour the dugout, received a jersey from Jonathan and threw out one of today’s ceremonial first pitches.

Way to go Uncle Roy!!!!

Jonathan, Roy and our entire family would like to extend our thanks to you and the entire Brewers family for a fantastic day at Miller Park. It will always be one of our fondest memories. Thank you again, Jonathan, and God bless you for all you have done to make so many veterans lives feel appreciated. May our dear Lord always keep you safe from harm in the palm of His hand.
