Brewers Community Achievers: Margaret Wendt
The Brewers Community Achievers Program recognizes residents throughout the state of Wisconsin each month during the season for displaying extraordinary efforts in their community.
This month’s honoree is Margaret Wendt. Margaret was recognized on the field prior to tonight’s Brewers vs. Mets game at Miller Park and also threw out a first pitch:
Margaret serves as an ambassador for the Mary Kay Foundation, which supports cancer initiatives for women and domestic violence prevention and education. With Margaret’s leadership, she spearheaded their largest fundraiser, Project Pink, which raised over $15,000. As a Mark Kay sales rep, Margaret donates baskets to several non-profit organizations and schools in support of their fundraising efforts. She also shares her fashion style with students at Mount Mary and Marquette University in support of the Dress for Success program. When Margaret isn’t spearheading fundraisers or walking the runaway for several nonprofit fashion shows, she is hosting Pampering Nights which provides complimentary makeovers to women at the Women’s Center of Waukesha and Sojourner Family Peace Center.
Thank you, Margaret!
