World Dog Awards To Air Tomorrow; Tune in to the CW Network to See if Hank Wins Dog of the Year
Over the weekend, I shared images of Hank on the start of his journey to Los Angeles, where he attended the World Dog Awards.
Our very own Ballpark Pup is an official nominee for Dog of the Year at the award show, which was held and taped at the Barker Hangar in LA.
In Hank’s entourage are his adoptive mom, Marti Wronski, Brewers VP-General Counsel; his older brother, Jonah; and me.
I’ve got some more photos and footage from that trip to share with you, but my lips are sealed: you’ll have to tune in to the show tomorrow (January 15) at 7pm CT on the CW Network to find out which dog won!
Friday, January 9:
Hank traveled on Southwest Airlines flight 900 from General Mitchell International Airport to LAX:
Hank checked in to the Hotel Palomar, a very dog-friendly hotel, where he was greeted like the celebrity he is:
Saturday, January 10:
Hank had a little downtime on Saturday morning, so he went for a walk:
After strolling down Rodeo Drive, he also located the three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame dedicated to canines:
Hank then walked the “Green Carpet” in advance of the award show:
Hank then attended the World Dog Awards, which was hosted by George Lopez:
There, Hank met many celebrities–both human and canine. We’ve got a lot more great photos to share from the event, but I’ll wait to post them until after the show airs on Thursday.
Sunday, January 11:
Hank’s whirlwind Hollywood weekend came to an end as he traveled back home to Milwaukee:
Again, don’t forget tune in to the show tomorrow night at 7pm CT on the CW Network to see the results (at the very least, you’ll see Hank’s nomination). You’ll also want to follow @Brewers that night as we live tweet along with the show.
Then, check back here and on our various social sites for more fun photos from the weekend.
