Brewers Rank Among Top Organizations in ESPN Fan Satisfaction Rankings; Brewers Voted Fourth-Best Among MLB Teams

The results of ESPN The Magazine’s annual “Ultimate Standings: Fan Satisfaction Rankings” have been released and the Milwaukee Brewers placed fourth among 30 Major League Baseball teams and 23rd overall out of 122 professional sports franchises (MLB, NFL, NBA and the NHL). The MLB and overall rankings are the best for the Brewers since the 2009 survey.

More than 101,000 fans participated in the survey, which rated each franchise in eight categories. Fans voted the stadium experience at Miller Park as the team’s highest ranking at 10th-best among all organizations. In addition, the Brewers placed among the Top 25 in the categories of Affordability (#15), Ownership (#22) and Bang for the Buck (#22).

“The fans give us our final report card every year, and we are pleased they value the Brewers and the Miller Park experience at such a high level,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “One of our top priorities is to deliver the best fan experience in the industry, and that’s something that we focus on every day.”

The full rankings are available here.

The Brewers and Miller Park have placed among the top teams in several media and fan rankings over the past several years. Miller Park was named Wisconsin’s “Best Group Outing” by Wisconsin Meetings Magazine earlier this year. In addition, Scarborough – a marketing research company – established the Brewers as one of the top teams in Major League Baseball in terms of engaging their market. In 2012, Miller Park was deemed the best ballpark in Major League Baseball by the fans through ESPN’s “Battle of the Ballparks.”
