Lyle Overbay Serves as Official Ambassador for Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin
Today, Lyle Overbay and Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin (RMHC) donors came together for a milestone event at the Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa.
RMHC is in the final stages of an expansion project that will nearly double the size of the existing House with an additional 32 guest rooms, as well as a fitness center, music room and expanded dining facilities. Through July 2014, the campaign has raised $8.4 million toward a financial need of more than $10 million and today, RMHC was excited to announce that Lyle Overbay will serve as the official ambassador for the “home stretch” of the capital campaign to expand.
In honor of his number, RMHC will be counting down to the last 24 days of construction and the completion of the expansion project.
Brewers Community Foundation is a longtime partner of RMHC with support from other players including Robin Yount, Prince Fielder, Randy Wolf as well as the Brewers wives. For the last two years, RMHC has been the recipient of the Stolen Bases Happy Faces campaign in coordination with Northwestern Mutual Foundation.
