What Cait Ate: Will Smith’s “Slider of Death” from AJ Bombers
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it…and try these concessions!”
“Slider of Death” from AJ Bombers
During each homestand, I’ll sample some of the latest and greatest Miller Park fare and review it here, for you.
One of the most fun, new additions to Miller Park this season has been AJ Bombers. The popular restaurant and bar-with locations in Milwaukee and Madison-now occupies the outside space formerly known as the Plaza Pavilion, along the west side of Miller Park near the right-field gate.
AJ Bombers offers a selection of cheeseburgers, egg rolls, tater tots, shakes, custards, specialty concrete mixers and more. The menu also include homestand specials, such as the city-themed concrete mixers and the newest addition: Will Smith “Slider of Death.”
Will Smith’s “Slider of Death”-$9
Making its debut tonight, Will Smith’s “Slider of Death” is a special creation named after what fans have dubbed Brewers pitcher Will Smith’s nastiest pitch.
For just $9, fans will get two sliders on Brioche rolls, topped with Nueske’s bacon, roasted jalapeno ketchup, American cheese, lettuce and tomato, plus a side of tots. The sandwich is the fourth of several city and/or player-themed burgers that AJ Bombers plans to offer this season.
Smith’s sliders are exclusive to Miller Park (i.e. not served at AJ Bombers’ restaurants) and available for a limited time.
And for dessert, be sure to try AJ Bombers new specialty concrete concoction here for the Nationals Series only: Cherry Crisp.
For the Colorado Rockies series, enjoy “Rockie” Road–Peanuts, Marshmallows & Chocolate!
I’ll be sure to check in with AJ Bombers often throughout the season to keep you informed on their newest menu items, just like I have been with the ever-popular Double Clutch!
