Former Brewers Player Josh Murray on Season 10 of The Bachelorette
Josh Murray, drafted out of high school by the Brewers in the second round of the 2002 MLB amateur draft is now hoping to be a different kind of top pick, appearing as one of 25 contestants on the 10th season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, which premiered on Monday, May 19.
The 29-year-old infielder was part of the organization from 2002-2006, spending time with our former minor league affiliates Ogden, Beloit and West Virginia. He played with Brevard County (a current affiliate) in 2005 and 2006. When Josh did not advance beyond single A ball, he enrolled at Georgia, where he joined the football team as a walk-on safety in 2009.
Earlier this month, Josh’s younger brother, former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, was selected in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, going to the Kansas City Chiefs.
