Miller Park is “Where It’s At” for Country Artist Dustin Lynch & Band
Today Miller Park was “Where It’s At” for country music recording artist Dustin Lynch and his band.
The guys were coming into town for a show tonight at the Rave. When they realized their bus was coming in to Milwaukee in time for the 12:10 p.m. game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates, they jumped at the chance to get out to Miller Park.
For Dustin, who just turned 29 yesterday, this was only the second Major League Baseball game he’s ever attended. And his first was just last year when he attended a Dodgers vs. Cubs game at Wrigley Field.
“I just never got to go growing up, but I always loved baseball,” the native of Tullahoma, Tennessee told me.
Now, living in Nashville, Dustin and the guys do attend a few Nashville Sounds games (the Brewers Triple-A Affiliate) when they can, but with their crazy tour schedules, it’s tough.
He also says he got a taste of Spring Training this year when he threw out the first pitch prior to a White Sox-Padres game and then performed in Peoria.
The guys had a great time here–they loved the ballpark, enjoyed the $4 beer, $1 hot dogs and $4 nachos as part of #SpringMadness414 and cheered the Brewers on to a walk-off win over the Pirates, 4-3.
“Awesome!” Dustin exclaimed.
Dustin was also kind enough to sign this Brewers cowboy hat for us:
And we’re giving it away over on Twitter tonight. Simply click here and Retweet the contest tweet by midnight tonight for your chance to win it. There’s only one hat, but by retweeting, you’re also helping us win money for our local RBI Leagues with the 2014 #WHIFF promotion.
