Francisco Rodriguez Records 300th Career Save

Brewers reliever Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 300th career save today at Miller Park against the Atlanta Braves.  He is the 25th pitcher in MLB history to record 300 career saves.

Rodriguez, 31, joined the Brewers in 2011 and nine of his career saves have come as a Brewer.  He has 208 career saves as a member of Los Angeles of Anaheim and  83 as a member of the New York Mets.

Rodriguez signed a minor league contract with the Brewers in April and started the season at Brevard County before moving to Nashville and ending up in Milwaukee on May 16.
