Double Clutch Menu Item for Braves Series: Chicken and Waffle Sliders

Chef John is at it again, putting his own touch on the soul food classic meal of Chicken and Waffle Sliders available this weekend at Miller Park’s “Double Clutch” stand.  This is probably the best one I have tried to date.

Thyme infused waffles and crispy fried chicken (boneless) served slider style–two to an order.  The chicken is topped with a homemade maple-dijon aioli and micro greens.  I urge you all to give this a shot because it is delicious.  The sweet taste of the waffles and maple aioli combined with the chicken makes for an awesome combination.  If I can help myself, I might try it each day this weekend.

A popular dish in the South, the Chicken and Waffle Sliders are $10 and available throughout the three-game weekend set with the Atlanta Braves.  They are meant to be eaten like a sandwich, but might be a bit messy so grab a fork and knife.  I can’t wait to hear your reviews, please share below.  I think you will all enjoy this.

The waffles are made fresh on the griddle at the stand.

A staple of the Double Clutch, the Spaghetti-in-a-Meatball is also available again and features a 1/2 pound beef and veal meatball stuffed with spaghetti and mozzarella cheese and topped with marinara sauce.  That is $9.

The Double Clutch stand is on the Loge Level outside section 215 (on the first base side of the press box).

Pretty annoyed they sold out after 3.5 innings. Group in front of us got the last if them. Boycotting the concessions for the rest of the game. Will save me $50!

Nick – Sorry for the inconvenience. They must have been very popular and were probably only a limited number available. There are plenty of other delicious concessions available at Miller Park! Check out some of our other blogs for some ideas. Thanks for your input.

Nick – Sorry to hear you missed out. I do know we had a run on the item . We will be more proactive to get backups there faster. Thank you for the feedback we look forward to it positive or negative so that we get better. Chef John

So John and Cait–How can I get a job like yours?🙂
