The Polish Sausage is featured wearing a “Piwowarzy” jersey, which is the Polish translation for Brewers. The Brewers will also be wearing the Piwowarzy jerseys when they take the field at 1:10pm.

Jerseys will be available in the Brewers Team Store by Majestic for $200; caps are $45. These items will also be available on brewers.com.

The Brewers have worn special “Cerveceros” uniforms for “Cerveceros Day” in each of the last eight seasons; wore “Bierbrauer” uniforms for “German Heritage Day” in 2011 and “Birrai” uniforms for “Italian Heritage Day” last year.

Piwowarzy T-Shirts (both men and women's sizes) will be available at the Team Store this weekend for $25.

Finally, in preparation for Sunday, the Polish Sausage visited Polish Fest over the weekend to learn more about his heritage. Here’s a fun little gallery (click photos to enlarge). Enjoy and we hope to see you out here next weekend to celebrate with us!

Cheers!

perfect. thank you Cait!!!!

My husbands last name is Braatz and we will be at Sundays game. Any idea on how I can be in the sausage race?

Sorry, unfortunately, the race is not open to fans.

What a pathetic effort last night by the Crew. Losing 10-1 to the Astros. No way I spend money to watch them. What a disaster

We’ll be there enforce. My mother’s maiden name is Stromski. Both of my kids are adopted but both have Polish blood in them (my daughter is 1/2 Polish herself). My 3 Polish grand kids will also be with us. It is also my son’s 35th birthday (yes, we have his name going up on the jumbo-tron). So Polish heritage day will be filled with my Polish family. Only my 88 year old mother opted out because of all the walking :(.
Will see you all there!

How is that pronounced?

I can’t wait to be at Miller Park for this game. I’m 100% Polish and a die hard life long Brewers fan–this is perfect. Just need a win too!

$200 dollars for the Jersey is ridiculous they would make near the same or more if they sold them for $100. My wife loves Polish she votes for him every time and it breaks my heart I can’t afford a jersey at $200.

Hey Jason, T-shirts are only $25…

Jason,

“They would make near the same or more if they sold them for $100″??? If they sold them for $100 they would be lucky to cover the cost they bought these for let alone rent, wages, etc.

Buy her a polish tee shirt if she loves polish so much! Don’t complain about things you clearly don’t understand like retail math.

Go crew!
