Chef’s Table For The Reds Series

The Reds are in town for a quick three-game set at Miller Park against the Brew Crew.  The always popular “Cincinnati 5-Way Chili” is on the Chef’s Table menu for this series.

A hearty bowl piled how with any combination of spaghetti noodles, beef chili, kidney beans, cheese and onions makes this dish a true classic.  The meal is served with a piece of garlic toast.  You will definitely finish this bowl of chili satisfied as it is a complete and full meal.

Cheese tops off the dish.

The finished product can be yours for $8.75 and is available outside section 215.

Customized Brewers Phone Covers? Good Call!

Calling all Brewers fans- customized phone covers are now available at Miller Park!

The Brewers Team Stores have offered a wide variety of covers for sale that fit many phones (in addition to iPad covers), for awhile now, but one of the cooler new things this season is the Etching Station, located in the Brewers Team Store by Majestic in the Hot Corner at Miller Park.

The store will etch your existing battery cover on most phones for just $20, or, if you don’t want to etch the phone itself/prefer to have a cover on your device, you can purchase a cover from the shop and have that etched for $30. [Please note that currently, the store only offers covers for the iPhone and select BlackBerrys.]

Fans can choose from a wide variety of Brewers logos and mascots. The store also offers all other MLB logos, as well as logos of other Wisconsin teams. Each cover/case can be personalized with up to 15 characters of text, so you can include your name, or a phrase like “Go Brewers!”

The whole etching process only takes about 90 seconds and is fun to watch.

Also, rumor has it that Bernie Brewer has been giving out some cover & etching prize packages via his Twitter account and, I’m told that if you see him at the games against the Reds this coming Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, he just might have some coupons for you!

Please note: Etching is available on both game days and non-game days. Non-game day Brewers Team Store by Majestic hours are: Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm; Saturday, 10am-6pm; and Sunday, 11am-4pm. For specific questions, please call the store at (414) 902-4750.

Time “Running” Out to Register for the Brewers Mini

Pardon the pun, but time is running out to register for the inaugural Brewers Mini-Marathon!

I heard from Tai Pauls, Manager of Special Events for Brewers Enterprises, this morning who told me, “Although we’ve had a strong response since we first went on sale, we saw a huge spike in registrations during the past week leading up to the August 1 price increase. Currently, fewer than 300 spots remain before  we’re sold out!”

Runners are urged to visit www.brewersmini.com as soon as possible to make certain that their spot is secured.

Don’t miss your chance to join John, Trenni & me this September!
