Ever Wonder What Bernie’s Slide Is Like?

There are many things that make Miller Park unique and Bernie Brewer sliding down his big yellow slide in left field to celebrate a Brewers home run or a Brewers victory is certainly one of them.

Over the years, many people–myself included– have wondered what it is like to slide down the slide.

Well, I finally got to experience it for myself–and now there are two different ways that you can, too!

1. Watch this “Bernie’s-Eye View” as he slides down the slide, holding a camera:

or

2. Go down the slide yourself!

Yes, that’s right. Before every home game, you and your friends can join Bernie Brewer up in his dugout and feel the rush as you twist and turn down the slide. At $100 per person, packages are available for 2-6 people per game, offering those over the age of 8 a Miller Park experience like none other!

Last week, I took the slide for a test drive myself—all in the name of blogging.

I must admit, I am a little scared of heights, but I quickly overcame that as the view of the ballpark from up there is breathtaking and the ride on the slide itself was so fun. I felt like a little kid again.

Here, you can watch a video of me going down the slide. It was taken in two different angles–one by Bernie Brewer himself and the second by a roof camera.

This is definitely a unique offering, with amazing photo opportunities and a memory that will last a lifetime. For more information on how you can purchase your tickets for the Bernie’s Slide Experience, visit brewers.com/slide.
