Brewers Dominican Summer League Team Dedicates School
Last week, I posted a story about a service project that members of the Brewers Dominican Summer League team finished near the Brewers training complex in the Dominican Republic. Yesterday, the school held its grand opening as the project was officially completed. Children and teachers will start filling the renovated classrooms for the 2012-13 school year with new school supplies, books and better conditions for learning. Players interacted with the students at the dedication and gave them books and supplies for the upcoming school year.
Below is a picture of the team at the presentation.

The team at the presentation: Angel Ventura, Juan Ortiz, Jose Dicent (back), Raphachel Colatosti, Yosmer Leal, Yunior De La Cruz, Yunior Santana (back), Eliezer Montano, Juan Santiago (behind teacher), Juan De Leon, Alejandro Mendoza, Doni Arias (back), Jose Feliz (polo shirt in front), Joan De La Cruz (behind Feliz), Victor Diaz, Carlos Belonis, Jorge Lopez (glasses), Cesar Aranguren
I find it fitting that this happened during the same time the Brewers here in Milwaukee are celebrating Brewers Community Foundation Week, showing the commitment the organization has to giving back at every level.
